Closing the Loop – Mattress recycling
Is there potential for optimisation in the area of mat- tress recycling? Through the eco-design of mattresses, we want to generate secondary raw materials in the long term that are suitable for reuse in the manufacture of mattresses or for new products, such as sports equip- ment, building materials for furniture, but also for insu- lation and underlays. Furthermore, endeavours are to be pursued to extend the useful life.
