Smart Modular Packaging: waste to valuable assets
The common practice of using custom pallets/crates only once causes a very high quantity of wood waste and inefficient use of resources, resulting in very low sustainability. It is estimated that approx. 50% of hardwood consumption is derived from the industrial packaging sector, and globally freight transport plus manufacturing represent 25% of CO2-eq emissions.
